The cornerstone was carefully chosen because of its physical strength and the truth of its corners. It was then laid at the corner of the foundation as the key reference point for all the construction. As the Bible uses this symbol, it alludes to Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone of God's household--the church. We at Cornerstone Church acknowledge Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone to guide and direct in every aspect of our church's life and development, and we've chosen it to be our name as a constant reminder of that promise.
